The ScaleDem EU Grant Programme invites startups and SMEs from across Europe and associated countries to apply for equity-free funding that supports product development (including software) and company growth. The programme is designed to enable companies to move faster from idea to validated product and to market by combining up to €250,000 in funding with mentoring, peer learning, and access to a wider network of partners and experts.
The call is open to projects at different stages of maturity - whether you’re shaping an early prototype, building an MVP, or refining an existing product toward market readiness. ScaleDem aims to support applicants in developing, testing, and improving their solutions through structured guidance and practical feedback, helping teams reduce delivery risk and strengthen their go-to-market approach.

Project Duration: 12 months
Funding:
Equity-free grants of up to €250,000.
Advance Payment:
50% initial advance payment is provided at the start of the program, 35% upon submission of the mid-term report, and 15% upon submission of the final project report.
Funding Conditions:
The total amount requested must represent 100% of the total project costs and may cover personnel costs, equipment, hardware, software, travel expenses, subcontracting (up to 15%), and indirect costs (flat rate of 10%).
Projects should have a 12-month duration and include a clear description of the product development and/or company scaling strategy. Applications can be submitted by a single applicant (one company) or together with project partners (other companies). All application information must be provided in English.
